The Haifa English Theatre presents Pulitzer Prize playwright Paul Zindel’s AND MISS REARDON DRINKS A LITTLE  which received the Los Angeles Drama Critic’s Award for Best American Play.  Directed by Ruth Willner, it will be performed in January 2013 at the Beit Hagefen Auditorium, 33 Hatzionut, Haifa.
Three sisters dealing with their mother’s death simmer with resentment in this drama which intersperses humor with pathos.  Catherine Reardon (Gillian Braunold), Anna Reardon (Yael Rudner) and Ceil Adams (Bertha Cafrey) all have very singular approaches  to life, with no patience for the intrusion of Fleur (Adi Amara) and Bob (Jake Margolin) who have come to comfort them.  The ever faithful Delivery Boy (Maury Schneider) has an attitude, as does the neighborly Mrs. Pentrano (Betsy Lewis Yizraeli) who believes cosmetics are the answer.
