2.    Health education through active meetings.
3.    Encouraging a personal, social, active interrelation between women from different cultures.
Who is it for?
Jewish and Arab women who want to walk, persevere… and see results, who want to hear tips about health, swap stories with other women and enjoy a delightful activity.

The activity includes:
Moderate walk along different routes
Explanations on topics involved with health, nutrition and fitness
Intercultural acquaintance

Activity and routes:

We start with an active social meeting followed by light stretches and a warm-up, walk for 60 to 90 minutes in a light to medium pace (approx. four kilometers per hour) and end with muscles strengthening and relaxation exercises.
The walking routes are varied and include Bat Galim boardwalk, Hof HaCarmel boardwalk and Hecht boardwalk, so that we can have interesting and challenging sessions that meet the walkers' preferences.

The framework of the activity:

An introductory meeting devoted to making acquaintance and bonding at Beit HaGefen, two weekly walking sessions in the morning/evening, combined with monthly lectures about sports and health at Beit HaGefen.

By Ulfat Haider, physical education instructor, a tour guide and a groups moderator.
