arts and crafts workshops

Beit HaGefen invites you to a series of arts and crafts workshops for women, as part of a program aimed at empowering women and bringing hearts together. Throughout the next couple of months we will hold four types of workshops, in which each participant will create a personal object of art for herself, and another object that at the conclusion of the workshop will become a part of a collaborative piece of all participants to be exhibited in the framework of the Holiday of Holidays festival.

1.   Embroidery and Color - Hana Tzor
Artistic embroidery in an innovative technique incorporating gold and silver threads, as well as dyeing and silk screen
The meetings will take place on Sundays, from 5 to 7.30 pm

2.   Paper Cuts - Tzipora Neman
An ancient folk art that started in China and became a multicultural art. The art is used in the decoration of homes and various religious rituals.
The meetings will take place on Sundays, from 5 to 7.30 pm

3.   Peace Beads - Maya Blum
The Hebrew and Arabic word for bead is a homonym which means both a rhyme and a craft's bead. Women in all nations and religions have been engaged in crafts throughout the generations.
The meetings will take place on Thursdays from 7 to 7.30 pm
