Arab Cultural Days Festival
The phrase "Arab culture," although at first reading it seems rather banal, is actually a concept that suffers from a lack of recognition or basic understanding of its essence. Among the majority of the Jewish population in Israel, the term evokes an association of "inferior culture" or "uninteresting." Among the Palestinian population in Israel, unfortunately this is a simply incomprehensible phrase. Many young Arabs grow up here without basic access to culture or the arts.
Whole generations of Jews and Arabs are growing up here without knowing that there was once a vast, rich and influential culture that left a mark on the entire Middle East.
